Kort Maeda is an interdisciplinary designer, outdoor educator, and Master’s student in landscape architecture at UC Berkeley.

Her work explores the intersections between climate resilience, community engagement, and participatory design.  She believes design is a powerful tool that shapes our everyday narratives and spaces. At the core of her work is an understanding of justice-centered sustainability, centered around principles of reciprocity, storytelling, and community-held knowledge.  When the sun’s out, you can find her rock climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, or shooting 35mm film.
